Corsair Force MP600 Mini M.2 2230 1TB

Very satisfied with this SSD so far! Haven't noticed any difference in speed or performance compared to the included Ally one. I bought it because I wanted to have more storage for games on my ROG Ally. 512GB is way to small if you want to install newer games these days. Before I bought this 1TB SSD I managed to have 4 games on the Ally before my SSD was almost full, which was not fun. It was very easy to change the SSD on the Ally, all you had to do was: - Remove the 6 screws that is attached with the backplate and remove it. - Remove the cable that is attached to the battery, so you know it is completely turned off. - Remove the screw that is holding the SSD in place. - Remove the old one, put in the new one and put the screw back. - Put back the cable to the battery, put on the backplate and put the 6 screws back. After that's done you need to get more technical. When you boot up your Ally after the change of SSD it will automatically boot into BIOS. From there go to advanced mode and press advanced. In advanced look for "Asus Cloud Recovery" and follow the instructions it gives you. Then the waiting game began. It took me about 2 and a half to 3 hours until I would be able to use it, because it needed to download things, update things, recover things and it restarted many many times during those hours as well. I have good internet at home so it wasn't my internet speed that was the big issue, it was all the other things that took time. When that finally was over, you had to setup Windows like you did when you booted up your Ally for the first time and that took some time as well. But after all of those hours of just watching the Ally do restarts and update/recovers you are finally able to use it with your new SSD installed. This was my experience when I changed the SSD on my Ally and I suppose you will experience the same when you do it yourself. I tell you this because I would highly recommend that you do something else during the "cloud recovery". Instead of just watching it like I did, very boring but I didn't know that it would take that long, LoL.

Köpte till mitt Steam Deck, installerades utan krångel och funkade direkt. Tyvärr finns det ju knappt några alternativ till denna disk vilket gör att priset i min mening är aningen högt.
